Vertex, Deltec, or Reef octopus? | Reef2Reef
While the vertex skimmers are very good they can be pretty temperamental getting dialed in and can take a couple of weeks to break in. I broke the body of the vertex 150 I had been running so went ahead and bought the R.O. I'm glad I did. Extremely quite with the Varios pump and it was pulling stuff within a couple of hours.

My vertex omega 150 pump impeller has some ceramic that chipped off. I was interested in a replacing the whole pump if possible. Quick search got me the tunze 9420 but I didn't know if another pump could work. Or if a aftermarket impeller shaft is available and a option. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Good morning all and Happy new year! i'm having a little trouble finding replacement parts for my vertex 180i skimmer. i have searched the web, LFS,BRS,Marinedepot, also tried going through vertex itself and can't seem to find replacement parts for it, just finding brand new skimmers which i'm not interested in.

I'm looking for the easiest, most consistent way to set up my CaRx. Im working with a Vertex RX-C 6D calcium reactor, Carbon Doser regulator, Kamoer FX-STP peristaltic pump and a pH probe run from my Apex. Out of the two ways below, what would be your preferred method? Any input or see any flaws in my plans? Option 1.

Folks, any suggestion of which pump to replace with? My skimmer Vertex omega 150, only 2 yrs old and the pump went out, I think it shorted in the inside (it tripped my electrical plug every time I plug it in). Thanks
